The size of our atmosphere

The small bubble in the picture represents the world’s atmosphere condensed into a single sphere – our air tank is not at all big!

As the space we use to move about in is filled with chimneys and exhaust pipes – connected to the very same air tank supplying us with oxygen and protecting all life on Earth, it is of course legitimate to ask whether one planet is enough.
